I was born and raised in Chiapas, Mexico. My Mom was the best example of tenacity and hard work, not only because she supported her two kids by her own but also because took risks in order to give us a better life, and guess what? #SheNailedIt. Growing up the three of us were always together, going to the park was an adventure and visiting my grandparents in another town was the best. Eventually we moved out very far away to find better opportunities, I'm glad we did, the 40º degree weather from Chiapas was killing me, but I definitely miss the food.
When I was 17, I got my first job as a cyber cafe attendant, that was were all my .MP3 collection came from 😉. After that, I work at a print shop, and that's where graphic design became my obsession. While in college I was still working, but this time, it was just to pay my bills 😅.Currently, I live in sunny San Diego, California. I'm a cat mom and when I'm not working, you can usually find me at the new coffee spot in town, buying plants, or spending time with my family, we are very close.
I'm always growing my skills, I love learning new things and implementing all kinds of tools into my workflow (I'm talking to you AI) There's no doubt we are living in a period of time where people consume content in all shapes and forms, and its our job as Creatives to put that message in the best visual way possible without alienating creativity and strategy.
I help create visuals and creative assets for all kinds of clients as a Freelancer, my focus is in Motion Design, Social Media videos and 3D, but that's definitely not all that's inside my toolbox. I used to work in a marketing agency as an Art Director, I created digital and social campaigns for global brands where I learned all the ins and outs of marketing and brand positioning. Before all of that, I worked as a In House Designer at a large corporation and as a Graphic Designer for a home appliance brand.
